Christopher Fitzgerald, who created the role of Boq in the Broadway production of Wicked, has joined the cast of a new pilot for the WB Network.
Variety reports that Fitzgerald will play a "flamboyantly gay
technician" named Neil in the as-of-yet untitled Kohan/Mutchnick
project for the Warner Bros. Network. The comedy has had two previous
titles: "Twins" and "Good Eggs."
Christopher Fitzgerald received a Drama Desk nomination for his work in Broadway's Amour, and his Off-Broadway credits include Observe the Sons of Ulster Marching Towards the Somme, Fully Committed, Saturday Night, Wise Guys, Corpus Christi and The Cripple of Inishmaan. He was also seen in the City Center Encores! production of Babes in Arms.
Fitzgerald spent eight season at Williamstown, and his film credits
include "The Boiler Room," "Fresh Cut Grass" and "Personal Velocity."
I think I'm more excited about this than I should be.
